A team of gun-wielding baddies
jumped a man for his gold jewelry at
a W. 24th Street apartment on June
17.
The victim told police that the
prowlers hit him with the butt of a
gun at the house between Mermaid
and Surf avenues at around 1 am,
causing him to lose consciousness,
before taking the jewelry and running
off.
Bodega bust
Three louts attempted unsuccessfully
to rob a Mermaid Avenue
bodega on June 15.
An employee told police that the
trio of bandits attacked them at the
store on the intersection of W. 29th
Street at around 9 am before fl eeing
empty handed.
Delivery dash
Pillagers mugged a delivery man
for his bike and food on Surf Avenue
on June 18.
The victim told police that the
thieves attacked him between W.
25th and W. 27th streets at around 12
pm with a glass bottle, before grabbing
the grub and the two-wheeler
and running off.

Repeat offenders
A trio of knife-wielding thieves
robbed an Avenue X store of more
than $4,000 worth of cellphones on
June 15.
The victim told police that the
bandits, who had robbed the store
three times before, brandished a
knife in the business on the intersection
of W. First Street at around
2 pm, before grabbing the tech and
running off.
Fresh swipe
A prowler stole a soap bar from
an Avenue X shop on June 18.
An employee told police that the
freebooter threatened her inside
the store near Haring Street around
1 pm, before leaving with the soap.
Bike bounce
Brigands swiped $20 from a man
after knocking him off of his bike on
Avenue W on June 19.
The victim told police that the
jerks followed him in their vehicle
on Ocean Parkway at around 4 am,
before bumping the back tire of his
bike with their car, and robbing
him.

Stick prick
A bruiser attacked his acquaintance
with a stick on Quentin Road
on June 15.
The victim told police that the
ruffi an agressivley charged at him
with the wooden stick between
W. Second and W. Third streets at
around 6:30 pm, and struck him
multiple times in the left forearm.
The victim ran into a building
to escape the attacker, who fl ed in a
black Mustang.
First responders rushed to the
scene and took the victim to Coney
Island hospital, where he was
treated for his non-life-threateningwounds,
according to police reports.
A rail pain
A bandit nabbed handrails and
guardrails from a New Utrecht Avenue
construction company on June
15.
An employee told police that the
thief cut open the locked fence at the
construction yard near the corner
of 63rd Street at around 3 am, before
snagging the rails and running off
undetected.
Money marauder
A slimeball threatened a woman
and stole her cellphone and $400 on
Avenue U on June 16.
The 48-year-old victim told police
that the robber grabbed her by
the neck by W. Eighth Street at 8:30
pm and said “Money, money,” before
snatching her gold iPhone 11
and $400.
Subway scuffl e
A nogoodnik stole a straphanger’s
ring and a cellphone in a fi ght
on a Utrecht Avenue subway on
June 18.
The victim told police that the
ruffi an claimed to have a gun aboard
a southbound D train by 62nd Street
at 1 am, before shoving the victim,
grabbing his ring and his phone,
and hopping off the train.

Two scoffl aws stole a delivery
man’s bike on Warren Street on
June 20.
The victim told police that one
of the bandit’s held him back while
the other purloiner hopped on his
two-wheeler when he was making a
delivery between Nevins and Bond
streets just after 7:30 pm.
Kia later!
A charlatan stole a rental car
from a Boerum Place garage on
March 30.
An employee told police that the
crook rented the 2019 Kia Optima
with a fraudulent credit card from
the shop between Atlantic Avenue
and Pacifi c Street, and never returned
it.

Sticked-up
A bat-wielding brute smacked a
guy with a stick at Hudson Walk on
June 16.
The victim told police that the
malefactor swiped him near Myrtle
Avenue at 5:30 am, causing scraps
and cuts on his back.
Back attack!
A man was hospitalized after an
attacker hit him in the head on Carlton
Avenue on June 19.
The victim told police that the
bruiser whacked him from behind
with the unknown object near Fulton
Street at 2:10 am.
Paramedics rushed the man to
Methodist Hospital for treatment,
according to police reports.
Thigh shot
A gunman shot a man on Carlton
Avenue on June 20.
The victim told police that the
shooter hit him in the thigh between
Myrtle and Park avenues at
10:30 pm.
Paramedics brought the victim
to Methodist for treatment of his
wounds, according to police.

Two police offi cers were injured
Thursday night as they were
racing to the scene of a shooting in
Bushwick, according to police.
On their way to Cornelia
Street, offi cers from the 83rd Precinct
struck a pole near Grove
Street and Bushwick Avenue just
after 11 pm, offi cials said.
Both were taken to a local hospital
for treatment of non-lifethreatening
injuries, according
to authorities.
Other cops responded to the
shooting, where they found an
unidentifi ed man shot in the arm.
He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital
where he was last reported in
stable condition.
There was no description of
the assailant and the victim was
said to be “uncooperative.” Police
sealed off Bushwick Avenue to secure
spent shells scattered on the
ground.
