A pirate stole $38,600 worth of
gold collectors coins from a Brighton
Second Street home on May 19.
The victim told police that multiple
people had access to the home
between Brighton Beach Avenue
and Brightwater Court at around 7
pm and could have stolen the valuable
coins.
Stealing spree
Bandits broke into several cars
parked along Shore Parkway on
May 19.
One of the victims told police
that the scoffl aws smashed the windows
of the vehicles parked between
West Street and Ocean Parkway at
around noon and stole money and
electronics.
Bike bandit
Thieves stole two bikes from
the storage room of a W. 21st Street
apartment building on May 19.
The victim told police that he left
his two bikes on the bike rack in the
common area of the building at the
intersection of Surf Avenue around
11 pm and returned to fi nd them
missing.

Creep!
Police arrested a man for allegedly
exposing himself to a woman
before stealing her cellphone on
Downing Street on May 20.
The victim told police that she
was sitting in her car between Gates
and Putnam avenues at 4:45 pm,
when the suspect allegedly pulled
out his genitals, opened the passenger
side door and took her phone, before
making a run for it.
Cops caught up with the 25-yearold
man on felony robbery charges
at 8 pm on Clifton Place, according
to police reports.
Yanked!
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
grabbing a woman’s cellphone at a
Myrtle Avenue liquor store on May
21.
The victim told police that the
suspect allegedly pulled the phone
from her hand between Carlton Avenue
and Adelphi Street at 9 pm.
Boys in Blue found the man
near Washington Park at 9:50 pm
and arrested him on felony robbery
charges, according to police
reports.

Gun violence
Some brute beat a youngster to
a pulp with a gun and stole his cellphone
on N. Oxford Walk on May
23.
The 18-year-old victim told police
that the villain hit him in the face
with a handgun between N. Portland
and Carlton avenues at midnight,
before hitting him several
more times and taking his phone.
Paramedics rushed the victim
to a hospital where doctors treated
him for multiple slashes to his face
with staples and stitches, according
to police reports.
Macho meanie
Some bruiser attacked a woman
on Fleet Walk on May 23.
The victim told police that the
punk — who goes by the name Macho
Man — asked her for a hit of
crack between Navy and Tillary
streets at 10 am, before throwing a
pusher cart at her, wounding her
torso.
Paramedics rushed the victim to
Brooklyn Hospital for treatment.

Wholesale heist
Cops cuffed two employees of a
Shore Parkway electronic store for
allegedly stealing more than $3,000
from the store on May 19.
Managers at BJ’s Wholesale Club
near Bay 38th Street told police at 7
am that the two employees had been
working together to smuggle $3,344
worth of electronics from the store.
Lobby looters
Two bandits stole a man’s wallet,
cellphone, and chain from the lobby
of a W. Sixth Street apartment building
on May 19.
The victim told police that the
two good-for-nothings offered him a
new face mask while he was waiting
for a taxi inside the vestibule of the
building by 65th Street at 2:30 pm,
before patting the victim down and
grabbing his wallet, phone, chain,
and Nike shoes.
Violent robbery
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
assaulting two housemates while
attempting to steal from their 66th
Street apartment on May 21.
The victims said that they caught
the suspect rummaging through
the room of their apartment by New
Utica Avenue at 4:20 pm, before allegedly
punching one man in the chest
and kicking the other in the shin before
running off with $200.
The defendant has an active parole
warrant and active bench warrants,
according to police reports.
Car crook
A thief stole a car from Cropsey
Avenue on May 20.
The victim told police that he left
his company’s 2007 Blue Chrysler
unlocked with the key in the ignition
by Bay 38th Street while he was
making a delivery at 5:45 pm — but
when he returned, the car was gone.

RED HOOK
Bike burglary
A bandit snatched a bike from a
Court Street building on May 24.
The 17-year-old victim told police
that the thief rode off on the $600
red bike that had been secured to a
chain and locked near Huntington
Street at around 8:15 pm.
Air bag bandit
A burglar stole an airbag from a
car parked on Hicks Street between
May 21 and May 22.
The victim told cops that the pirate
broke the passenger’s side window
of her 2019 gray Honda sedan
parked between Lorraine and Bay
streets and snagged the $882 airbag
from under the steering wheel.
Command crook
A good-for-nothing snagged a
package from a Hamilton Avenue
house between May 8 and May 9.
The victim told police that the
thief nabbed the package, which
had a $180 pressure cooker and a
$9 Command Hook inside, from the
hallway of her building between
Mill and Centre streets.

A diesel fuel explosion at an
equipment rental yard in Flatlands
on Wednesday sent a plume
of smoke and fl ames 30 feet into the
air, fi re offi cials said.
No injuries were reported in
the Utica Avenue blast at the Kisay
Equipment Rental yard by Avenue
O, which rents heavy-duty generators,
large lights, and other gear to
construction companies.
The explosion occurred at about
2:45 pm on May 20 for unknown reasons,
causing a 500-gallon diesel
fuel tank in the back of the yard to
erupt in fl ames, according to authorities.
A blue tarp covering the
building frame burnt off before fi refi
ghters arrived.
Firefi ghters who fi rst responded
to the scene immediately sprayed
foam on the burning fuel and on
nearby vehicles to prevent their fuel
tanks from bursting into fl ames.
Firefi ghters who specialize in hazardous
materials were rushed to the
scene to help halt the fi re’s spread.
Firefi ghters brought the blaze
under control after about an hour,
said fi re offi cials. The cause of the
blaze is under investigation.
