THE UNDERSERVED: Samba 360 collected an SUV full of new and
gently used soccer gear from Syosset High School Sophomore Sawyer
Wayne, an All-Conference member of the Syosset High School Varsity
Soccer Team who started collecting the gear for his Bar-Mitzvah and
now organizes an annual donation drive to give back to those in need.
4. AMERICA'S VETDOGS HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING OF RENOVATED
TRAINING CENTER: America’s VetDogs, a national nonprofit that trains
and places guide and service dogs with veterans and first responders
with disabilities, hosted a ribbon cutting event on July 6 at their campus
in Smithtown to celebrate the opening of the newly renovated, state of
the art, training facility. 5. 75 DONATIONS FOR NON-FOR-PROFITS:
Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, one of the region’s leading full-service law
firms, is commemorating its 75th anniversary by making 75 donations
to not-for-profit organizations serving the New York metropolitan
area. 6. SCO FAMILY OF SERVICES RAISES RECORD $159,000:

up for the 40th Annual Madonna Heights Golf Classic at the Woodside
