of Long Island. Throughout his career,
he has focused his impact on improving
access, retention, graduation and other

Janet A. Lenaghan
Lenaghan, dean of the
Frank G. Zarb School
of Business at Hofstra
University, has been
named to the board
of directors for the
nonprofit United Way
of Long Island. Under her leadership
as the first woman dean, the school has
earned top rankings for its programs.
Michael Patrick
Caplice
Caplice, the Long
Island regional director
for New York State
comptroller, has been
named to the board of
directors for the nonprofit United Way
of Long Island. He previously worked
for Suffolk County, the state Assembly,
and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Specialists named Dr.
Badr, a board-certified
hematopathologist, as
the chief of pathology
and laboratory services. She continues
to lead the pathology department,
Core Medical Laboratory, and the lab’s
operations.
