The event also recognized BID and community leaders with Awards. Honorees included: Steve Novenstein and UOVO for the New Commercial Development Award, JetBlue with the District Enhancement & Impact Award and Victor Nair of Lucky Pizzeria & Cafe with the Queens Plaza New Business Award. Special recognition was given to the former and soon to be leaving Community Board leaders: CB 1 Chair Vinicio Donato, Former CB 2 Chair Joe Conley, and CB1 District Manager Lucille Hartmann.
