LIC Partnership Real Estate Industry Leaders Gather for LIC Partnership Real Estate Breakfast Hundreds of members of the real estate industry gathered for the Long Island City Partnership’s annual Real Estate Breakfast at the Con Edison Learning Center on April 6th. Industry leaders participated in a panel discussion entitled Identifying Opportunity in Long Island City’s Evolving Market. Panelists at the 2016 Real Estate Breakfast included David Brause, President, Brause Realty, Shibber Khan, Executive Vice President, Criterion Group, Steve Klein, Chief Investment Officer, Brickman Real Estate, Paul Neuman, Founder and President, Neuman’s Kitchen and Ravi Patel, Chief Executive Officer, Ravel Management Group. “Each year more than the last, Long Island City continues to be a hot spot for commercial and residential activity,” said Elizabeth Lusskin, President of the LIC Partnership. “Our annual Real Estate Breakfast presents a diverse group of current projects with a dynamic panel and very engaged audience. In addition to market trends, the panelists discussed the impact millennials are having on the amenities and design of new construction, the need to expand LIC’s retail landscape, and the ways in which the neighborhood can accommodate existing businesses looking to expand in the area.
