The Long Island City Business Improvement District
(LICBID) is growing! The BID previously encompassed
Queens Plaza and Jackson Avenue.
Now, thanks to the efforts of City Council Majority
Leader Jimmy Van Bramer and area businesses,
the expansion nearly doubles the current area of
the BID along Jackson Avenue, Vernon Boulevard
and 44th Drive.
The new area has nearly 200 small businesses.
The BID provides visitor services, beautification,
sanitation, security and marketing for the neighborhood,
among other perks. Come check out the
many unique and interesting businesses in the BID
and also learn more by visiting LICQNS.com/licbid.
We also encourage LIC businesses to get listed in
our online directory and for venues holding events or
happenings, to post the information on the LIC community
calendar both available under Experience LIC
on LICQNS.com.
