N O V E M B E R LeHavre’s Annual Halloween Party 2018
It was spooky good fun for kids of all ages at
Le Havre’s annual Halloween party on Saturday,
October 20.
The Clubhouse opened up to kids dressed in costumes
that were creative and colorful, and they all
looked great. The party, which ran from 12noon
till 3pm, started with the kids getting down to work
making masks and decorating goodie bags to hold
lots of Halloween treats, with materials donated by
Elite. A load of pumpkins, donated by Le Havre’s
gardener, Marc Michalic, were set aside waiting to
be decorated later.
“Mood” music played in the background—everything
from “Monster Mash” and “Thriller” to the
theme from “Ghostbusters”. Pizzas arrived from
Cascarino’s at 1:00 to feed the hungry ghosts and
goblins. Soon after, the kids took part in another
favorite game, “Mummy Wrapping,” which used up
so much toilet paper it probably depleted most of the
inventory at the local Scott tissue warehouse.
By mid-afternoon it was time to call it quits so
the kids could go home and enjoy some of their
treats (don’t spoil dinner!). Everyone went home
with a smile, and it’s certain that everyone’s already
planning their costumes for next year’s Le Havre
Halloween party!
Aw, what a little pumpkin! Uh oh, someone’s waiting for you…
Don’t worry, she’s a good witch!
You got how many treats?
