8 L E H A V R E N E W S N O V E M B E R Boo! Le Havre’s Annual Halloween Party is a Hit! Friends, families and kids of all ages got together at the Le Havre Clubhouse on Saturday, October 22 for its annual Halloween party, and a great time was had by all. As usual, all of the costumers were eye-catching, and ranged from princesses to pumpkins. Speaking of pumpkins, the day kicked off with the kids gathering at the tables to decorate pumpkins and show off their art skills. The three-hour party continued with DJ Graham leading a bunch of little ones in a pretty tough game of “Freeze Dance,” where the children could dance and jump all they wanted--but then had to freeze as soon as the music stopped. And the music was pretty catchy, including tunes such as “Happy,” “Shake It Off” and “Uptown Funk.” There was a welcome break when pizzas from Cascarino’s arrived and a couple of ginormous heroes from Logan’s were brought out. But it wasn’t long before the action started again and the kids broke into teams for a competitive game of “Mummy Wrapping.” Three brave grown-ups volunteered to be mummified, which involved enough toilet paper to cover King Tut and his entire family. By mid-afternoon it was time to call it a day, and most certainly the kids (and their parents) went home tired but happy. No doubt, everybody is looking forward to next year’s Le Havre Halloween party! 8 LEHAVRE COURIER | NOVEMBER 2016 | WWW.QNS.COM
