I have a B.A. from Queens
College in Mathematics and
Chemistry and a D.P.M degree
from the New York College
of Podiatric Medicine. I will
honestly represent the shareholders
of Le Havre to the
best of my ability.
What do you see as the
major priorities for Le
Havre for the next year?
Keep maintenance increases
to a minimum while maintaining
services, and excellent
quality of life. Continuing
capital improvement projects
including a maintenance plan
for our building exteriors
and a plan for major capital
improvements.
Additional Information:
My wife, Lorraine, and I
have been residents and
shareholders of Le Havre for
almost 33 years. We have
raised our two sons, Adam
and Eric, here who have
both moved on to successful
careers.
I think Le Havre is a wonderful
place to live and would like
to be an active part of keeping
it that way. I am a proponent
of keeping maintenance
increases to a minimum while
maintaining our excellent
services. During this very
difficult year with COVID19 I
would like to thank all of our
maintenance staff who as
essential workers came into
work and kept our buildings in
proper condition.
During my previous years on
the Board, we replaced all of
our windows and roofs and
put a water proof coating on
all of our buildings. During my
current years on the Board
we have renovated our lobbies
and hallways as well as
many other improvements. I
believe the knowledge I have
gained from participating in
these projects will be beneficial
as we plan future capital
improvements.
When making a decision as
Board Member, I try to take
into account shareholder
feedback. We are a co-op and
all shareholders should have
a say.
Therefore, I am hoping that
this year all of my fellow
shareholders come out to
vote so we may achieve a
quorum.
I would appreciate your support
in electing me to the Le
Havre Board of Directors.
Thank you very much.

Graduate of Brooklyn College
with B.A. in English Literature
Licensed Insurance Broker
with wide range of business
clients and business experience
An operations organizer for
CPCU, an insurance professional
society
My past board experience and
service in community groups
What do you see as the
major priorities for Le
Havre for the next year?
Improving areas under our
buildings, grounds, and signage
& upgrade halls and
lobbies
To keep spending within our
operating budget and reduce
costs
Increasing our capital
reserves to keep us ahead of
major maintenance needs
Additional Information:
I have lived in Le Havre for
over 42 years and have
enjoyed all my years in this
wonderful community. Having
been on the board in the past
I feel confident I can handle
the duties and responsibilities
it entails and want to continue
to contribute to improving
our life style here. My son
went to Bayside High School
and played tennis on our
courts, and handball when we
had the handball courts.
As a Board Member, I work
with our insurance brokers to
get the best insurance deal
available for proper coverage
at the lowest cost as well as
plan and help execute the
major renovations here at
LH. My expertise in this area
can help the co-op contain
costs in the future. For this
past Insurance renewal, I
negotiated with our broker to
get a $5000 reduction in our
umbrella policy.
As a past and current member
of the Budget & Finance
Committee, I work with the
committee members to
review expenses, prepare
the budget, and find ways to
increase our major capital
reserve. I also am the co-captain
of my building.
Currently I am writing articles
for our Le Havre Courier
newsletter. I love living in LH
and making it a better co-op
and community for all who
live there.

BS Degree, Baruch College,
in Finance & Economics.
Numbers driven.
What do you see as the
major priorities or Le Havre
for the next year?
Better communication
between Board and
Shareholders
Additional Information:
Hi, everyone, I’m Bill Donofrio,
I’ve lived in Le Havre for 10
years with my wife, Maria and
our Bulldog, Fiona. We live in
Building 8/4A and we love it
here!
I’d like to be a part of your
Board because I can help
bridge the significant gap
that has formed between the
Board and the shareholders.
I’m a collaborator… I love getting
input from others to see
what might not be obvious to
me; I think that’s important.
We ALL want the same thing,
to have our “village” be a
wonderful place to live and
for the investment that we
made to be a good one. I can
help accomplish both of those
goals.
Background: I’m a graduate of
Baruch College (Finance and
Economics). Professionally,
I’m a Mortgage Banker
(self-admitted “numbers
nerd”), who also holds a Real
Estate Broker’s License… useful
skills to possess in being
part of the Board. Lessons
I’ve learned: cheap is sometimes
expensive, and just
because something is expensive,
doesn’t always make it
the best. Options need to be
reviewed and opinions should
be sought. This is how the
right decisions are made. As
a member of your Board, I
promise to listen to you.
