“Paw It Forward” – A Worthy Cause
Paw It Forward is a volunteer group
of folks who help people who are ill
and need someone to walk their dog.
Its services include picking up and
dropping off your dog on a flexible
schedule, taking out your dog for up to
an hour-and-a-half each week.
Le Havre residents Helene and Phil
Oelerich are members of the group.
They walk Theo, “a lovely poodle/
terrier mix,” Helene said. “We walk
him once a week in Kissena Park for
about an hour.” She added, “The park
is wonderful for children, pets being
walked, people exercising or just walking

Helene has shared some photos from
one of their recent excursions at the
park with Theo. We hope you’ll find
them, as well as the pictures of the
beautiful park, inspirational!
