S E P T E M B E RPRESIDENT’S REPORT:
BY STANLEY R. GREENBERG, CPA
As we come to the end of another pool season, I
would like to think that everyone had an enjoyable
time and took advantage of the amenities that Le
Havre has to offer. Be advised the tennis courts are
open and will remain so until mid to late November,
weather permitting. The gym is open almost every
day of the year and we hope that residents take
advantage of this amenity also.
Financial:
The 1 month ending July 31, 2018 (budgeted
versus actual) showed total revenues of $1,449,966
(8.27%) of the budgeted amount of $17,524,297 and
total expenses of $1,208,941 (7.26%) of the budgeted
amount of $16,649,827 as reported by our accountants.

The positive variances were due to higher unit
sales, unexpected patronage dividend, savings in
utilities and real estate taxes.
Hallway & Lobby Project:
The hallway and lobby upgrades are progressing
nicely. The contractors hope to
finalize several buildings by the end of
September. The contractors commenced
work on B#17, 18, 19 & 20 on September
4th and, since they now have all materials
in stock, they expect the remaining
sixteen buildings to progress much faster
than the first sixteen. The bulletin boards
are on order and are expected by the end of
October or early November.
We have received a lot of
questions about the lobby
mirrors. Rest assured, the
mirrors are on order and
will be installed upon
arrival, which we hope
will be some time in
November. Feedback overall has been
extremely positive to date and we thank
everyone for their patience and cooperation.
Cement Replacement:
The cement replacement work under
Building #28 and B#24 has been finished
and the contractors are now
working on B#18. They will start working
on B#6 on September 17th and this
will complete the cement replacement
project for this year. We
will have 18 buildings completed
by the end of 2018.
Thank you as always for
your continued support.

Coming Soon!
The Annual
Le Havre Art Show!
Summer might be over, but the Le Havre Art League members
are burning with creative projects for the upcoming Art
Show on November 18.
The event gathers a group of artists from various disciplines
including photography, drawing, jewelry design,
mixed media and macramé, among others. This show aims to
recognize the abundant diversity of artists in our community,
and it is open to anyone who is interested in exhibiting their
work.
The event will also be a great opportunity to meet the local
artists who are your neighbors, enjoy a glass of wine and be
entertained by local musicians (to be announced soon).
Please save the date, everyone! We promise you an enjoyable
afternoon filled with fun, creativity and conversation.
