Le Havre’s “Boogie Wonderland!”
There was a Saturday night fever at Pool 2 on July 27 when Urbn Playground hosted its first 70s-themed
party at Le Havre. The disco inferno kicked off at 8pm with about 75 partiers hustling to the tunes that
DJ Eddie played. Amber Vacarro, Le Havre’s Clubhouse Manager, said, “He played till midnight, only 70s
music. We got great feedback on him!”

Although everybody got into the groove, most partygoers didn’t bother to dress up for the event.
Except for Gabby and Eric (below), who took the theme to a whole new level. “They looked like
someone time traveled to the 70s and brought them here for the party!”
Sergio and Amber handled the 50/50 raffle and the winner was Thomasina CIardulli (congrats,
Thomasina!). Other Urbn staffers who helped out were Lindsay Urban and Justin Gomez, the
lifeguards on duty. “They made sure no one fell in the pool,” Amber chuckled.
Overall, it was a great night. Amber said, “We had such a beautiful night, it wasn't hot or muggy
and it was a perfect night. Everyone had a groovy time!!”
