PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
BY STANLEY R. GREENBERG, CPA
We are looking forward to a fabulous summer with
all of the amenities that are available to club members.
The opening of both pools marks the beginning of the
summer season and the time when we can get out, meet
our neighbors and enjoy the many facilities available to
club members. I always think of Le Havre as having a
Country Club atmosphere with the beautiful surroundings
and the serenity of the pools.
Spectrum Reminder:
Just a reminder that the Spectrum bulk program takes
effect on July 1st, so if you have not already done so,
please contact Onboard to sign up if you wish to avail
yourself of the huge savings that this package offers. If
you are an existing Spectrum customer, you must also
sign up also with Onboard ASAP for the reduced pricing
and to avoid any interruption to your service.
Two Onboard representatives will be going door
to door in the buildings on Thursday, June 10th
and Friday, June 11th, to speak with residents in an
effort to boost enrollment numbers. Additionally,
they will also have a sign-up event in the Clubhouse
on Saturday, June 12th from 10:00AM
– 6:00PM.
Financial Summary:
The 10 months ending April
30, 2021 (budgeted versus
actual) showed total revenues
of $14,816,071 (77.30.%)
of the budgeted amount of
$19,168,137 and total expenses
of $14,810,211 (77.26 %)
of the budgeted amount of
$19,168,137 as reported by our
accountants. The positive variance
is due to the overall savings from the
loan refinancing.
Cement Work Under the Buildings:
The cement work under B#19 will be completed
shortly. Work is tentatively scheduled to commence on
Building #9 on June 7th. Buildings #15 and #31 will
also have the cement replaced this year.
Playground Swings:
I have received lots of positive feedback
from the young families with
regards to our newly refurbished
playground. They really enjoy the
fact that we brought back the
swings after an absence of so
many years.
Social Media:
I would like to remind those of
you that post negative comments
about our cooperative on social
media that you are bringing across
a negative connotation to the general
public about Le Havre Owners Corp.
This is affecting every shareholder of the
corporation, including yourself, and devaluing
everyone’s investment. We ask that you refrain from
such damaging remarks going forward.
Once again, I would like to thank all residents for
their continued support and hope that you enjoy the
beginning of the summer season.

A Word from Le Havre’s Clubhouse Manager
My name is John Cunningham and, as many
of you may know, I have been the Clubhouse
manager since September 2020.
I am very excited about our pool season
finally being open and I wanted to let everyone
know about important updates this summer.
While we are very happy that we are taking
steps back to normalcy, safety is still our top
priority. We are looking forward to bringing
back events and services from previous years
such as bingo night, aqua aerobics, swim lessons,
etc.
With that being said, we still have to follow
some guidelines this summer. For example, we
still require masks to be worn while inside the
clubhouse and the pools will be closed from
2pm until 2:30pm for cleaning.
Of course with any new updates from the
NYC Department of Health, our safety precautions
are subject to change. I believe that we
are heading in the right direction and it’s only
a matter of time until we are back to normal.
I am looking forward to seeing you enjoying
all of our amenities this summer and please
feel free to stop by the clubhouse to say hello!
