L E H A V R E N E W S 3 F E B R U A R Y PRESIDENT’S REPORT: BY STANLEY R. GREENBERG, CPA Now that the holidays are over, I hope everyone had a joyous holiday season and again I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year. Financial: The 6 months ending December 31, 2016 (budgeted “We’re All About You” PUBLISHER & EDITOR Victoria Schneps-Yunis ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER Joshua A. Schneps EDITOR IN CHIEF Jill Davis ART DIRECTOR Nirmal Singh ARTISTS Ron Torina, Jonathan Rodriguez WWW.QNS.COM | FEBRUARY 2017 | LEHAVRE COURIER 3 versus actual) showed revenues of $8,325,138 (50.32%) of the budgeted amount of $16,544,208 and total expenses of $7,548,770 (47.79%) of the budgeted amount of $15,794,662 as reported by our accountants. Concession: As you are probably aware at this juncture, Logan’s Catering is no longer occupying the Concession space. Logan decided to move on to new ventures and I would like to wish him luck with his future endeavors. We are happy to announce that the Concession will be reopening under new Management early in March. Le Havre shareholder Anna Maola will be operating the concession under the name “Sunflower Bistro.” Anna has many years of restaurant management experience and I am sure that the café will be well-run and that the food will be excellent under her supervision. Look out for her introductory article in this edition of the Le Havre Courier. During the changeover period, we are sprucing up the cafeteria by carrying out painting and floor tiling work, etc., to freshen up the appearance. Cement Work under the Buildings: As we get into the spring and summer season, the cement work under the buildings will recommence. We plan on doing four buildings in 2017, the same as in prior years. Lobby Doors: 2017 will see the replacement of eight lobby doors and the completion of the lobby door project. Hallways & Lobbies: We are still researching ideas for the upgrading of the hallways and lobbies. We want to conduct as much research as possible before embarking on this project and I will update you further as this project progresses. In closing, I want to thank you for your continued support as always. CONCESSION UPDATE RE-OPENING SET FOR MARCH 1ST The concession area is still undergoing repairs/remodeling work. Therefore, the re-opening date has been pushed forward to March 1st due to this work taking a bit longer than anticipated. It may be a little sooner and you will be advised accordingly if that is the case. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we strive to complete this work and get the concession open in an expeditious manner. Thank you.
