Generally speaking, at this time of year due to the cold weather we do not have any exterior projects going on. Therefore, we will be concentrating on the interior of the buildings by cleaning and replacing damaged lobby tiles etc. As we approach the spring time I will be reporting again on any / all new projects in the pipeline. GREENBERG, CPA FROM THE MANAGER’S DESK: BY MARGARET COSTELLO WINTER REMINDERS: Heat Retention Tips: Make sure all windows are closed and locked. Keep the area in front of the radiators clear of any furniture or items that may block the heat. Open window coverings (shades, blinds, drapes) during the day time hours to allow sunlight into the apartment. Run ceiling fans in the reverse position to pull down warm air from the ceiling and allow it to circulate throughout the room. Check all air conditioners to ensure that they are not placed in the vent position as this will allow cold air to flow into the apartment. If you still feel cold air coming through the air conditioner, purchasing an inside cover should eliminate the problem. Should you experience extreme loss of heat, please contact the Maintenance Department.
