Flushing Town Hall is looking to diversify
and increase our Board of Directors.
Flushing Town Hall seeks qualiied candidates for our Board of
Directors. Flushing Town Hall is a 40-year-old cultural
organization whose mission is to present "Global Arts for a
Global Community" music, dance, visual arts, and theater
representing cultural traditions from around the world. We work
closely with our local community to develop programs that
celebrate and reeect its diversity, and we present cross-cultural
programming in an effort to connect people from different
backgrounds.
Our Arts Education programs are designed for the highly diverse
student populations of Queens and NYC, and serve more than
22,000 students annually. We operate out of a 158-year-old
historic building, and have a 308-seat theater and 2-room art
gallery. Flushing Town Hall is a member of NYC’s Cultural
Institutions Group (CIG) and a Smithsonian Affiliate.
