Slasher at the strip club

Woodside
Cops are looking for a man who
slashed a woman with a surgical instrument
outside of a Woodside club
last week.
According to police, at around 10:30
p.m. on Aug. 28, a 27-year-old woman
was entering Privileged Night Club, located
at 49-14 Queens Blvd. As she was
entering the club, an unknown man
grabbed her from behind and slashed
her with a scalpel blade.
The suspect the fled the scene in an
unknown direction.
Officers from the 108th Precinct
and EMS units responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst
Hospital for treatment of a deep laceration
from behind her right ear down to
her jawline.
Police described the assailant as a
black man in his 30s, standing 5 feet, 6
inches tall.
No arrests have been made at this
time. The investigation is ongoing.

Astoria
Ridden to a robbery

Cops are looking for an armed
man who robbed his victim at gunpoint
at an Astoria green space
last month and then fled the scene
on a bicycle.
According to police, at 2:30 p.m.
on Aug. 16, a 24-year-old male victim
was standing at the corner of Steinway
Street and 31st Avenue when he
was approached by an unknown man.
Sources familiar with the investigation
say that the victim was smoking
marijuana and the unknown man
asked for a hit.
The two men proceeded to walk together
to Sean’s Place Park, located at
31-32 38th St., and when they arrived
the unknown man pulled out a gun
and demanded the victim’s property.
The victim complied and handed
over $84 in cash and his LG cellphone
valued at $200. The suspect then fled
the scene down to Steinway Street,
where mounted a bicycle and continued
to flee.
No shots were fired and there
were no reported injuries as a result
of the incident.

Kew Gardens Hills
Pair chokes out robbery victims
help in finding
two violent crooks who
choked out and robbed
men in Kew Gardens
Hills twice last month.
Law enforcement
sources said the first
robbery occurred at
11 p.m. on Aug. 22 in
the area of 147th Street
and 75th Road.
a 40-year-old
man just after the victim made a food
delivery to a nearby home. Cops said
one of the crooks put the victim in a
chokehold while his partner removed
the deliveryman’s cellphone, wallet
and $250 in cash.
After obtaining the victim’s belongings,
the thieves fled the scene in
Three nights later, at 11:40 p.m.
on Aug. 25, the bandits attacked a
55-year-old man in the area of 75th
Road and Main Street.
According to police, they approached
the victim just after he
had used a nearby ATM. As in the
first incident, one robber choked
the victim while the other removed
$700 in cash.
Law enforcement sources said the
suspects then fled the scene to an undetermined
location.
Both incidents were reported to
the 107th Precinct. Neither victim
suffered serious injuries, police said.
On Sept. 1, the NYPD released photos
of the two perpetrators.

Burglars raid man’s closet

Cops are looking for four men who
broke into a Flushing man’s apartment
and raided his closet.
Police say that at 1:20 a.m. on Aug.
23, four unknown men entered the
apartment of a 27-year-old man, located
in a residential building at 145-38 34th
Ave., by using a key. Once inside, the
suspects took $1,000 worth of clothing.
The suspects then fled the scene in
an unknown direction. The incident
was reported to the 109th Precinct.
On Aug. 27, the NYPD released
video of the suspects walking through
the building.
