Thief attacks teen who
refused to give him a dollar
at Lower East Side station

The NYPD is looking for a
suspect who assaulted a
teenager inside a Lower
East Side train station.
According to police, at 8:15
a.m. on Sept. 12, a 16-year-old
boy was approached by an unknown
a dollar near the F line at the
East Broadway station. When the
teen did not comply, the suspect
began to follow him and made
an anti-white statement, saying
“You white people think you can
do whatever you want.”
The suspect proceeded to kick
the victim in the abdomen and leg
and pushed him to the ground.
The suspect then fl ed the scene
on foot.
The victim suffered pain and
bruising but refused medical
attention at the scene.The investigation
Task Force is ongoing.
The NYPD released a photo
and video of the suspect taken
from the East Broadway station.

Package thief steals
from three Greenwich
Village buildings

The NYPD is looking for a
package-swiping crook who
robbed three Greenwich Village
apartment buildings in less than
two hours.
The suspect fi rst entered 115 Washington
Place through an unlocked door
at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 7. The suspect
proceeded to take several packages
from the building before fl eeing the
scene in an unknown direction.
The crook struck again just fi ve
minutes later at 15 Sheridan Square.

Detectives are searching
an East Harlem block early on
Sept. 15 that left one man dead
and two others injured.
Sources familiar with the
investigation said the injured
victims are currently hospitalized
in stable condition, but are
refusing to cooperate with police
in providing details about the
circumstances leading up to the
gunfi re.
Police said the shooting happened
15 in the vicinity of the 1775
Houses at 107 East 126th St.
Offi cers from the 25th Precinct,
call about a man shot, found a
37-year-old man with a bullet
wound to his torso. EMS rushed
him to Harlem Hospital, where
he was pronounced dead a short
time later; police have withheld
his identity, pending family
notifi cation.

The suspect went into the building
through an unlocked door and stole
several packages on his way out, fl eeing
in an unknown direction.
Finally, at 5:15 p.m. that same day,
the suspect broke into 24 Cornelia
Street by breaking the front door. Once
he was inside, the thief stole several
packages before leaving the scene in
an unknown direction

Authorities said a 34-year-old
man at Harlem Hospital suffered
a gunshot wound to his hip, while
the second victim, also a 34-yearold
man, was brought to Lenox
Hill Hospital with a bullet wound
to his left leg; he was later transferred
to Cornell Medical Center.
Both victims are expected
to recover from their injuries,
but police sources said neither
of them are cooperating with
detectives investigating the
shooting.
As a result, police have no
information yet on a possible
motive, or a description of the
shooter. No arrests have been
made in the case.
