Cryder Point Halloween 2021
The unusual is becoming not-so-unusual
these days, which just proves that
Cryder Pointers and their friends are a
resilient bunch. Even though this was
the second consecutive year there was no
party attached to the Annual Halloween
Parade, it looked like a record turnout on
Sunday, October 31. The rough count of
participants who convened on the pool
deck from noon until 2 pm was approximately
100 people, give or take.
The array of costumes was impressive,
not the least of which were the number
of grown-ups who donned their Halloween
best for the occasion. Family costumes
must be in vogue, as there were
the Flintstones, the Potato Head Family
and multi-generational skeletons represented.
And even though there were
goody bags provided for the kids, lots of
parents helped ensure there was enough
by bringing additional candy so nobody
left empty-handed.
Kudos go to the Community Affairs
Committee, led by Eileen Annechino,
for coordinating this special day. Able,
cheerful assistance was provided by
Krista Berg and her kids as well as Terry
Bean, CeCe Schob, Barbara Lowy and
Dorene Finnegan. Thanks to everyone
for making this another memorable Halloween!
