Psari Seafood Restaurant & Bar
PBY HELENE OELERICH sari means fish in Greek, so if you love fish,
you must come to Psari! This lovely restaurant
in Astoria is known for its Greek seafood,
but it offers food for carnivores too, including
steak, grilled chicken and lamb chops.
The staff (loved our server, Olga), as well as the
owner, Yanni Vullis, are very warm, friendly and
helpful. There is an outdoor sidewalk patio and a
lovely bar inside (with a Happy Hour each weekday
from 4pm-7pm).
There are many appetizers to choose from, such as
raw oysters, clams, fish fries, and crab cakes. Entrees
include salmon steak, shrimp, scallops, tilapia and
the whole fish of the day, all of which are served with
vegetables, rice or pasta. Everything is extremely
fresh and enjoyable. We loved the broiled combo of
salmon, flounder, shrimp and scallops, and the crab
legs with baked clams were really good too!
There are lunch and dinner specials on the menu
every day, and beer, wine and cocktails, as well as
nice desserts, are also offered.
Psari’s hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11am-
12 am and Friday and Saturday, 11am-1am. Lunch
is served Monday through Friday from 11am-4pm.
Psari is located at 32-10 36th Avenue. Phone 718-
786-6015, and check out www.psari-restaurant.com
to see their full menus and international wine list
before you go. You will enjoy!!
