A reminder about the contest
rules:
The photographer must be
a resident of Cryder Point,
and all photos must of the
property or of a view from
the property. They also must
be current, that is, taken no
more than a couple of months
before you submit them.
Any description of where
you were on the property, the
day of week or time of day…
any details that you can provide
which bring your neighbors
into the moment of the
photo…are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@
qns.com and yours might
be selected to be featured in
the paper. Please be sure to
put “Cryder Point Photo” in
the subject line of your email
and include the full name of
the photographer and an approximate
date of the picture.
Marsha Gellert submitted her
photo that she managed to sneak
in on the last day of September,
capturing a colorful sunset just as
fall was emerging.
In contrast, Joe Hollander reminds
us of the many faces of the
bridge, this time a cheerful orange,
while Marsha’s second photo tells
us there’s no mistaking that autumn
is here.
Finally, Rob Cohen shared a
sailing class on the river and his
goodbye to the maritime ship, the
Empire State, along with its escort
to see it off for a safe voyage.
Thanks to everyone for their
contributions. The days are indeed
shorter now. The good news is that
gives more time to catch some interesting
afternoon and evening fall
photos. Just sayin’.
