Pool Party 2019!
BY JILL DAVIS
This year’s Adult Pool Party was another big success
thanks to Cryder Point Community Affairs and Elite
Amenity Management. Over 125 pool members and guests
joined in the festivities this year, and as you can tell by
all the smiles on the people in the photos, everyone had
a great time.
The Elite staff was led by Nick Santo, Shaun McNally and
Alexa Capo, and they worked with their usual efficiency
to make sure everything was set up by the time the gate
opened at 6:00. The devil’s in the details, and they had to
tend to everything from tables to chairs to lighting. They
were also a terrific help in handling the raffle prizes (see
below for more on this very important part of the event).
Once again, the party happened to fall on the night
before a Sunday bagel brunch, so everything had to be
cleaned up and prepped for the next morning, pronto! But
the Elite crew didn’t blink and had everything wrapped up
in no time after the party wound down.
Thanks go out to Cryder Point Community Affairs, with
special thanks to Dorene Finnegan, CeCe Schob, Mona
Blumenreich, Barbara Lowy, Joan Reinle and Board liaison
Eileen Annechino for once again planning, soliciting
raffles and organizing the event.
Eileen noted, “Mona, Joan and Barbara worked within
our community for another year of great raffle prizes.” She
added, “Special thanks from the Committee to the Cryder
Point Board for the door prize, which was a 2020 adult
pool membership, and to Direct Energy for the great Yankees
and Mets tickets.”
Needless to say, everyone is probably already looking at
their calendars for next July’s bash.
