4 C R Y D E R P O I N T AUGUST Message from the Board President Hello everyone, I’m pleased to report that progress is moving well on the seawall and the scheduled completion date of November 1 still holds. Please see the reprint of the progress report to see what’s been done, what’s in progress and what’s still on the to-do list. In addition, Xinos, our contractors for the balcony rebuilding, has advised that they expect to have the 01 Building completed by the e n d of this year. As you can see, some lines have not yet been started, but we know the crew can work fast and we look forward to celebrating the completion of this multiyear project. We will keep everyone up to date with any changes to this schedule. Meantime, since it’s the dog days of summer, a pictorial of the pool seemed timely. Despite the necessary protective wall that’s temporarily blocking the river view (due to the seawall work), folks are enjoying the rest and relaxation. Great pictures taken as always by our Courier editor, Stephen Vrattos. And a special shout-out to head lifeguard Katrina and her staff for keeping members and guests safe and sound this season.
