Cryder Point Photo of the Month
 BY JILL DAVIS
Congratulations to this month’s Photo of the Month winner,
Diane DiMuro, and thanks to Kevin Basian, Marsha
Gellert, Joe Hollander and Elsa Lorenzo for their beautiful
 photographs.
Well, I’m glad I’m not a weather forecaster. I’d be out of
a job in ten minutes. Last month I encouraged everyone to
get out and take some pictures because, as I wrote, “there
should be lots of opportunities to get some nice early-season
pictures of the grounds as they start to perk up!”
Instead, Mother Nature has had the last laugh…at least
I hope it’s the last laugh this year. Enough already! But,
griping aside, you have to admit these snowy photos are
awfully pretty. And thankfully, we’ve got a couple in this
month’s collection to remind us that spring is coming
 (eventually!).
As always, keep your phone or camera handy, because
you never know when you’ll catch a special moment!
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point,
and all photos must of the property or of a view from the
property. They also must be current, that is, taken no more
than a couple of months before you submit them. Any details
that you can provide which bring your neighbors into
the moment of the photo are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours
might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please be
sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of your
email and include the full name of the photographer and
an approximate date of the picture. Gorgeous springtime snow (April 2).
Joe caught an evening view on March 21.
