Local Law 152 Update
A recap of the December shareholders’ meeting was
posted on BuildingLink and distributed under doors
to all residents. Please contact the Management
Office if you did not receive it. The Board will be
convening the week of January 10 to consider all
options so that we can move forward as soon as
possible.
Our laundry contract would typically be up for
renewal in March, but in light of the situation in the
21 Building we have executed it early. As part of the
new agreement, all laundry rooms in the three buildings
will be outfitted with new washers and dryers.
The new equipment is expected to arrive the week of
January 24, although the laundry company (Automatic Industries)
is trying to get the dryers for the 21 Building early; however,
at press time they are unable to confirm an early arrival. Please note the new
dryers will be electric since that is the only practical way to get the rooms up and
running in any reasonable time frame.
New information will be released as updates are received. In the meantime, necessary
electrical work for the new dryers will begin the week of January 10.
Local Law 11 Inspections
A reminder memo has been issued advising residents that the restrictions on
balcony items remains in effect until further notice. Violation may result in an
immediate fine. Please contact Management with any questions.
Emails to the Board and Management
If your question involves building or property issues, please email Management at
bnewell@cryderpoint.com and/or spankavich@cryderpoint.com. If you would like
to email the board directly regarding a building or property issue, please be sure to
also include Bill and/or Stacey. Building/property issues are forwarded to them, so
including them in your initial email will help with a faster response.
BuildingLink Reminder: Access Your Account!
We’ve discovered that some people have BuildingLink accounts but don’t access
them. You’re missing out on timely information! Those of you who have active accounts
are aware of the many updates that are sent out from Management using this
tool, such as emergency repair notifications, etc. It’s a lot faster and more efficient
than using paper notices, and everyone is urged to sign up. Please contact the office
if you have any questions.
Management Office: By Appointment Only
The Management Office is open Monday–Friday from 10 am until 4 pm. An appointment
allows the office to set aside sufficient individual time to help residents
with their questions and concerns. To schedule an appointment, please call Stacey
Pankavich at 718-767-5003, Ext. 2, or email her at spankavich@cryderpoint.com.
Thank you.
On behalf of the Board, let me wish all residents and staff the best for a Happy
and Healthy New Year.

Cryder Point December Coat Drive
CRYDER DOES IT AGAIN!
BY EILEEN ANNECHINO
Thanks to Cryder Point
residents for their generous
support of our year-end Coat
Drive with the donations
of many gently used warm
coats, hats and scarves. We
delivered 14 full bags to St.
Fidelis on December 21st for
distribution to those in need
of winter warmth. Coats, hats
and scarves are given out on
College Point Blvd. by community
volunteers.
“There is no doubt where
the need is, so many are
without coats and are now
bundled up,” said a volunteer
from St. Fidelis. “We are very
grateful for our Cryder Point
neighbors, their generosity
and support for the community.”
