Village decked out in Halloween
decor despite the pandemic
BY TEQUILA MINSKY
Pandemic or not, expressions of the
season come to Village stoops and
doorways and resident walls.
Flying bats, skeletons guarding doorposts,
gravestone and bones, or spiders
scaling buildings or caught in their webs.
For the less gobliny visages, there are displays
of squash, pumpkins, corn stalks,
and scarecrows. Welcome to the Village
during the Halloween season.

crawly spiders scale this Village building.
This Village stoop is a simple homage to
the season. Peeking through the gates—
Grove Court always festivvely expresses
the season. A scarecrow in the Village.
