Deliveryman
gets held up
Two men, one of whom is pictured
above, are wanted by police after a
couple of alleged robberies on Essex
Street, according to police.
The fi rst incident was on Feb. 12,
around 1:45 p.m., near 64 Essex St. A
male victim, 27, was delivering food,
when he was approached the two men,
police said, who allegedly put the victim
in a chokehold and punched him in
the face and body before taking $60.
The attackers fl ed, police said, and
the victim refused medical attention.
The second incident was fi ve days later,
around 12:45 p.m., near 66 Essex St.
A 66-year-old male victim was delivering
food and was approached by the two
men, who allegedly put the victim in a
chokehold and pushed him into a wall,
causing him to lose consciousness.
The two men then allegedly took the
victim’s wallet, which contained $150
and credit cards.
The victim sustained a laceration and
swelling to his head, and was taken by
EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower
Manhattan Hospital.

SoHo clothing
store thefts
Police are looking for three women
who allegedly stole nearly $30,000
worth of clothes from a Soho shop.
On Jan. 21, around 7:20 p.m., the
three women entered The Real Real at
80 Wooster St., police said, and then
removed several items of clothing from
shelves, then entered fi tting rooms.
They then left the store with tote bags
allegedly containing $28,700 worth of
merchandise, offi cials said.

Indecent exposure
on the 2 train
A man is wanted by police for public
lewdness on the subway, offi cials said.
On Monday, Feb. 10, around 6:15
p.m., a 20-year-old woman was seated
on a downtown 2 train in the 14th
Street station, when she saw a man allegedly
exposing himself while standing
in front of her on the train.
The man and the female victim both
got out of the train at the Fulton Street
station, offi cials said.

Nab ex for threats
A man was arrested after allegedly
making threats to his ex-girlfriend, according
to a police report.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, shortly after
midnight, a 26-year-old female victim
told police that she was home, in the
area of Eighth Avenue and West 21st
Street, and she received threatening
phone calls and texts from her ex-boyfriend,
28, causing the woman alarm
and to fear for her safety.
The man was arrested that day for
aggravated harassment.

Shoplifter bagged
A man was arrested for allegedly
shoplifting several items from Walgreens
at 526 W. 30 St.,
On Friday, Feb. 21, at 9 a.m., a male
employee told police that an unknown
man entered the store and took several
items and left the store without paying.
The items included four Dove soap
products and 10 Gillette razors, with a
total value of $114.
Police were able to identify the suspect,
with the store employee’s help, at West 28
Street and Tenth Avenue, and the man,
47, was arrested for petit larceny.

Theft at bar
Police released a photo of a man who
allegedly stole a woman’s wallet in an
East Village bar.
On Saturday, Jan. 11, around 2:25
a.m., a man was inside Solas Bar at
Father, son robbed in Midtown

Police released surveillance images
and video of a man wanted
for an alleged attempted robbery
of a father and son in Midtown
Manhattan.
The incident occurred inside an
apartment building at 410 West 48
St., according to offi cials. On Sunday,
Feb. 2, around 6 p.m., a 64-year-old
man and 41-year-old man, who are father
and son, brought groceries into
the lobby and left them there for a
“brief moment,” police said.
When they returned, the two men
encountered an unknown man allegedly
trying to take the groceries,
along with packages left in the lobby,
police said. A struggle ensued, and
the would-be thief allegedly pushed
the older victim against a wall, then
fl ed in an unknown direction without
any property, according to a police
report.
The victim sustained pain to his
back, according to offi cials, but re-

connection with an early-morning
stabbing at an Upper Manhattan grocery
store on Saturday.

3161 Broadway, just below 125th Street.
That’s when a 57-year-old male victim
got into an argument with another man,
offi cials said. The dispute escalated into
a physical altercation, and the other man
then allegedly stabbed the victim several times in the chest and torso.
The assailant then fl ed the store in an unknown direction, police reported.
The victim sustained internal injuries, police said. EMS units rushed him to
Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police released surveillance images and video of the suspect, who is wanted
for assault in the 26th Precinct. Anyone with information about his identity is
asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
