Gifted musician Trombone Shorty,
accompanied by superb musicians
of “Orleans Avenue,” on Sept. 18

that packed the grounds of Prospect
Park Bandshell, 141 Prospect Park

The New Orleans, Louisiana native,
whose high-energy stage presence
and rock star persona catapulted him
to fame as a multifaceted artist, commanded
the audience, blowing high

For more than one hour, Trombone
Shorty, whose real name is

Orleans flavor to the stage as he
danced, sang, and made the trombone
talk during his exciting funkjazz
fusion. He banged the tambourine,
and interacted with musicians
stirred up frenzy.
The musician, producer and actor

Inc. All Black Fashion, Wine & Arts
Elegant Affair. The afternoon was filled

black excellence. During Fashion
Week, it’s never been that all the
designers are black; the hosted location

and drinks are by black-owned businesses.
However, The Sip NYC Inc did
just that, an all-black experience.
The designers outdid themselves,
excited to be back doing the runway
showcasing their new lines. Three fashion
segments included suits, dresses,
bathing suits, and nightwear, all new to
the fashion scene. The founders of The
Sip NYC Joy and James Fraser wanted
this to be special. Their collaboration
