level the three-match series (1-1) at
Warner Park in St. Kitts on Sunday.

International on Saturday night
at the same venue, forcing the match
to be abandoned, leaving West Indies
facing a must win situation in Sunday’s
finale to save the series.

faces 2-yr ban

Trinidad and Tobago Olympian
Michelle-Lee Ahye has been banned for
two years by the Athletics Integrity Unit
(AIU) for “whereabouts failures” — and
not for an anti-doping violation.
The track star missed three drug
tests on June 23, 2018; Feb. 23, 2019;
and April 19, 2019.

Four-day Test
proposal

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is examining
a proposal by the International
Cricket Council (ICC) to make Test
cricket four-day matches instead of the
current five days.
CWI CEO Johnny Grave commenting
on the issue said the regional body
is open minded about the proposal,
adding that the ICC may however, have
to look at the cricket’s laws and regulations
for four-day Test matches.
He said the main reason maybe the
ICC is thinking of making Test cricket
four-day matches is to clear up some
space in the hectic cricket calendar.
