As Anonymous Vibez Mas takes
a “Journey Around the World” this
Labor Day, the band will also be
revisiting the “heritage” of carnival,
according to band leader Latoya
Legall Williams.
“We will be bringing back the heritage
of the carnival to the modernday
society,” said Trinidadian-born
Legall Williams in a Caribbean Life
interview.
“Anonymous Vibez Mas is showcasing
the lifestyle of carnival by
bringing together key stakeholders
in the market of carnival, hence the
image, culture, art, music, fashion
and soul of carnival. Anonymous
Vibez Mas promotes that energy,”
she added.
Legall Williams said the production,
“Heritage: A Journey Around
the World,” comprises three mixed
sections: Bienvenue en France (Welcome
to France), Tales of Africa and
Tazi Hava.
