Bangladesh scored an upset
against the West Indies to capture
the Tri-Nations trophy after
the regional team slumped to a
five-wicket defeat under the Duckworth
Lewis system in the final
match of the series in Dublin, Ireland
last week.
In their final competitive One-
Day International (ODI) ahead of
the World Cup starting at the end
of the month, West Indies struggled
to contain a buoyant Bangladesh as
the Asian team easily chased down
a difficult revised target of 210 with
seven balls to spare.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) and Cricket
Canada recently met in Antigua
to update the existing Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) designed to
strengthen partnerships between both
cricket organizations.
Cricket Canada President, Ranjit Saini
met with CWI CEO, Johnny Grave to
update the existing MOU and to update
CWI on his organization’s plans for the
upcoming second edition of the Global
T20 Tournament and CricketFest, to be
hosted in Toronto.
The current partnership has seen
teams from Canada participate in CWI’s
Men’s Colonial Medical Insurance
Super50, as well as the recent CWI Girls
Under-19 Tournament held in Trinidad.
