played extremely well in the mid-fi eld
with two goals and an assist. Last but
not least, Ryan Faulkner is continuing
his amazing season with yet another hat
trick. Final score 6 -1 Spot On.
NOV.3RD GAMES
BANTAMS
Spot On met Burns & Rodriguez this
week and Spot On were able to hold on to
the undefeated season with the win. Although
the game started off slowly, Spot
On found their grove late in the fi rst
half. The unstoppable, Ryan Faulkner
had three goals and one assist. Madeline
Perrino had one goal and one assist.
Julianna Mosca had one goal and
two saves at goalie. Dominic Ventolla
and his fi rst assist, played a great game
at mid-fi eld, Gabriel Deleon came out of
goalie in the 2nd half and had a big game
offensively with multiple shots on goal.
Layla Alcalde played extremely well
both defensively and offensively. And
Aaron Piparo held the defense down,
keeping the opposing offense from scoring.
Final score 6-1, Spot On!
It was more of the same against their
Sunday meeting with Barino’s Mkt.
The fi rst half again was back and forth
raw competition. The Cestra’s were at
full strength, even welcoming back reserve
defender Brandon Delgado. They
managed to score right before the half
to break the goalless deadlock. Matthew
Urquhart was assisted by through
pass from Madison De La Cruz and the
Cestra’s had a 1-0 lead. This also came
from the Cestra’s staying together and
battling. #8 Gianna Didimenico was
awarded for her game long hard work
in the midfi eld landing her fi rst goal of
the season in the second half. She was
assisted by Max Cardi who broke away,
down the left side. Xavier Aponte, Ava
Vitale, and Brahima Diallo showed
great improvement from their fi rst game
until now. It was amazing to see. Back in
goal, Alex fought and little brother Jake
tried to protect him but Barino’s prevailed
with a 5-2 win. The Cestra’s miss
the playoffs with this sport a 3-6 record.
They play their fi nal game next week.
Overall, it has been a pleasure to watch
them grow.
MINORS
Global Container played their fi nal
regular season game this weekend, and
they were able to hold on to their undefeated
season. The entire team played
extremely well. Some stand out players
were, Alyssa Esposito, John Lopez,
Conor Guarnieri, Mallory Ventolla,
Aiden Munro, Hunter Feurst on Defense.
Offensive stand outs were, Lauren
Esposito, Grace Abraham, Sean
Kiely with an assist, Ryan Kiely with
a goal, Nikolas Maldanado with a goal,
Frankie Mosca with a goal and an assist,
and Richie Guarnieri with multiple
goals as well. It was a great way to end
the regular season, and they look forward
to the play offs.
BOYS MAJORS
NOV. 2ND
Bronxville Auto met up against P.
Hegarty Builders in a mid-afternoon
meet on November 2nd. Bronxville’s offensive
front were lead by Aaron Diaz,
Darin Jurado, Jayden Piparo, Brian
Jurado, Matteo Marrone and Giuseppe
Mineiro. Bronxville’s Max Wiehler received
credit on an own goal scored by
P. Hegarty, making the score 1-0. Both
offenses were aggressive and Bronxville
took advantage of a couple of miscues
which ended the fi rst half in a 2-0
score when Giuseppe Mineiro made a
solid shot to the right hand post. Both
teams kept being aggressive and striker
Giuseppe Mineiro scored two unassisted
goals to make the score 4-1.Defensively,
Solomon Smith, Ernest Beam, and Dylan
Almestica secured the defensive
side of the fi eld for Bronxville Auto by
not allowing a second score in the game.
Strikers Darin Jurado and Mario Noka
added to the score with two scores consecutively
in the second half. Midfi elders
Finn Wiehler, Max Wiehler, Daniel
Lopez,and Mario Noka, pressured and
moved the ball in a nice aggressive offensive
front. Goalie Geo Rodriguez
made several stops throughout the game
and secured the victory. Bronxville won
the game by the score of 6-1.
NOV. 3RD
Bronxville Auto met up against Cardinal
Spellman in a morning matinee
on Sunday, November 3. Bronxville’s offensive
front were lead by Aaron Diaz,
Darin Jurado, Jayden Piparo, Brian Jurado,
and Matteo Marrone and Giuseppe
Mineiro. It was a close game where both
defenses where committed on not allowing
a score. After Spellman opened the
scoring, Bronxville’s striker Darin Jurado
tied up the score by netting a low
right post goal. At the half it was a 1-1
score. Both offenses were aggressive
and Bronxville took advantage of a couple
of miscues which striker Max Wiehler
took advantage and scored making
it a 2-1 game. Both teams kept the pressure
on the offensive side and striker
Mario Noka scored with a solid shot to
the middle of the net and made the score
3-1.Defensively, Solomon Smith, Christopher
Flanagan, Ernest Beam, Frankie
Monti and Dylan Almestica secured the
defensive side of the fi eld for Bronxville
Auto. Cardinal Spellman made it interesting
when they scored with 8 minutes
left and made the score 3-2 . Midfi elders
Finn Wiehler, Max Wiehler, Daniel
Lopez, Mario Noka,and Nicholas Bulla
pressured and assisted the defense in
controlling the Spellman offensive
front. Goalie Geo Rodriguez made several
stops throughout the second half
and secured a solid 3-2 win. The win
placed Bronxville in a tie for fi rst place
in the division. Great game....great action
from both teams. Next up for Bronxville
Auto is a meet with P. Hegarty

NOV. 2ND
Capital Shield Insurance played
against Michael Anthony’s on Saturday

with non stop action between the
two teams. Offensively, Sia Karampimperis,
Camila Loyo and Neomi Gonzalez
worked great together while midfi elders
Emily Gutierrez Allison Conde, Emmie
Rodrigz and Jade Haney kept pressure
on them until Jessica Dineen took a
striking goal on Michael Anthony’s. Defensively,
Nina Karampimperis, Adriana
Carbajal, Angelica Rubino, Daniella
Mosca and goalie, Charlize Apunte held
a strong shield through out the game letting
only one goal in from a well played
Michael Anthony’s. Standout play by Olivia
Lopez who has progressed so much
in her fi rst season with AFC. Capital
Shield played another nail biting game
against Michael Anthony’s ending in a
tie.
NOV.3RD
The early game gave the fans that
woke up early a good show. Capital
Shield started the scoring and went up
2-0 until Tori Anderson put a blast past
the Capital goalie on a break through
the middle. The game went to the half
2-1 but All Time Detection had the momentum
going for them. Cecelia Porter
played another good game in goal making
one spectacular save after another.
Sofi a Miles played a great game and did
all she could to keep the ball in the offensive
zone. Chata Kone made a big
difference on defense stopping scoring
chances that could have put the game
away for Capital. All Time had their
chances in front but the team could
not capitalize on those chances and the
game went to Capital 3-1.
Capital Shield Insurance played
against All Time Detection in the early
morning. The scoring began by Jessica
Dineen with an assist by Sia Karampimperis
and a great kick up by defensive
player Adriana Carbajal. As Capital
Shield kept movement of the ball to each
side of the fi eld, midfi elders Emily Gutierrez,
Emmie Rodrigz and Neomi Gonzalez
worked together to keep the ball
up to the forwards as an assist by Allison
Conde gave Sia Karampimperis her
fi rst goal of the game. Defense stayed
strong with Nina Karampimperis,
Daniella Mosca and Angelica Rubino
until right before the fi rst half ended,
when All Time had a break away getting
their only goal of the game. Capital
Shield switched up their defense when
Striker, Jessica had to leave early and a
big shout out to Jade Haney who stayed
back, sweeping the back line as All
Time pressed on in the second half. Another
shout out to Nina Karampimperis
and Olivia Lopez as they stayed on All
Time’s motivated players who wouldn’t
give up without a fi ght. Charlize Apunte
now on the fi eld after playing goalie in
the fi rst half, put great effort in taking
long shots hoping to get a goal but All
Time’s goalie made some great saves until
Sia Karampimperis took control and
scored her second goal of the game, ending
this tough game with a win 3-1.
