POLICE HUNT FOR OLINVILLE SHOOTER
Police need your help apprehending a gunman wanted for a recent shooting in Olinville.
According to police, 47th Precinct police offi cers responded to a call of a
person shot in the lower back at White Plains Road and East 219th Street on Monday,
September 2 at 12:10 p.m. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was
taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition. No suspects have been identifi ed at this
time. The only description police received is of a black male wearing a white hoodie.
No motive has yet been determined in this ongoing investigation. Anyone with information

Monday, September 9, at approximately 2:20
a.m. - A 40-year-old male walking on the corner of
East 150th Street and Morris Avenue was punched
by an unidentified male punched multiple times in
the face before fleeing in unknown direction.
The male fled with the victim’s cell phone and
necklace. The victim sustained lacerations as well
as an concussion and was removed to Lincoln Hospital
for treatment.
Monday, September 2, at 8:35 p.m. - A
69-year-old male victim was entering his residence
at East 143rd Street and Third Avenue when he was
approached by two unidentified individuals, one of
which displayed a firearm and demanded his property.
The individuals then removed the victim’s cellphone,
cigarettes and house keys and fled on foot in
an unknown direction.
The two individuals are described as male
blacks, late teens or early 20s in age. One was last
seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants, the
second was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket
and dark pants.
42nd Precinct
Saturday, September 7, 2019, at approximately
12:30 p.m. - An unknown male individual
displayed a firearm and discharged one to two
rounds at an unknown male victim crossing the
street in front of 938 E. 163rd Street. There were no
reports of property damage or personal injuries as a
result of this incident. The individual then fled westbound
on East 163rd Street.
Tuesday August 20, 2019, at approximately
4:10 p.m. - An individual placed 30 bars of soap
inside a shopping basket and tried to walk out of the
location without paying for the items inside a Family
Dollar at 1315 Boston Road. The individual sprayed
two male employees with an unknown substance
when they tried to prevent him from leaving the
store and then fled the location on foot northbound
on Boston Road.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic,
40 to 50 years old, with a beard and hair in a ponytail;
last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts and
black sneakers.

Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 12:29 p.m.
An unidentified male approached a 64-year-old
male and snatched $120 from his hand inside of a
grocery/bodega located at 260 E. Burnside Avenue.
The unidentified male fled on foot and into 4275 Park
Avenue. The victim was not injured.
