WORKING TOGETHER FOR A CLEAN, SAFE AND THRIVING
MORRIS PARK AVENUE COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR!
Morris Park Business Improvement District
BEAUTIFICATION AND GREENING OF PUBLIC SPACES
MPBID is proud to support revitalization of the “Morris Park Community Garden” at 1000 Sacket Avenue.
We thank our partners at DEP and local volunteers helping us plant perennials, clean up and beautify the
sidewalk in front of the Morris Park Community Garden. The MPBID also reached out to the DOT to
supplement improve public lighting on the block at Colden Ave and Sacket Ave, and informed the NYPD 49th
Precinct of the neighbors concerns regarding safety and littering on that block. We thank DEP, DOT and
all volunteers for their hard work! If you are interested to join this effort, contact mpcgfriends@gmail.com.
