VISIONS/Services for
the Blind and Visually
Impaired Bronx-Westchester
Advisory Board held its annual
awards dinner at Frankie and
Johnnie’s Restaurant. The event
was sponsored by Bronxnet, the
New Rochelle Lions, Pisacano Eye,
NexGen and DJ Ambulette. Honorees
for the evening were Irene
Amato, A.S.A.P. Mortgage Corp.;
Dr. A.J. Contento, Eye Care Unlimited;
Gene DiNapoli, entertainer
and actor; and Michael Knobbe,
BronxNet. Gary Axelbank, Bronx-
Talk, was the emcee of the evening’s
events.
