40th Precinct
Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. -- The
NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in identifying
an individual in connection with a robbery.
Police received a report of a robbery taking
place aboard a Bx19 bus at the intersection of
East 149th Street and Brook Avenue. A 50-yearold
man was involved in a verbal dispute with an
unidentified individual. The dispute escalated to a
physical altercation and the unidentified individual
pushed the victim and forcibly removed his cell
phone before departing the bus in an unknown direction.
The victim suffered laceration to face.
The unidentified individual is described as a
Black man with a beard.
Thursday, July 11 at 1:45 p.m. -- The NYPD is
asking the public for assistance identifying a male
and female wanted for questioning in connection
to a robbery that occurred in the 40th Precinct.
In the vicinity of East 137th Street and St.
Ann’s Avenue, a 49-year-old man was entering his
residence when he was approached by an unidentified
female and male. The female pushed the victim
inside the location while the male acted as a
lookout. The female took a cell phone and wallet
containing $300 from the victim. Both the individuals
fled in unknown direction. The victim was not
injured as a result of this incident.

42nd Precinct
Friday, July 12 at 5:20 p.m. -- As part of a
robbery pattern that is described in the 44th Precinct
section of this column, a mobile store was
robbed at 1286 Southern Boulevard (Boost Mobile).
An unidentified male entered the location
brandishing a black firearm and demanded money
from the register. A 20-year-old female employee
complied and the male proceeded to flee the location
with $744 dollars. The individual fled the
location on foot westbound on Louis Nine Boulevard.
There were no injuries reported as a result
of this incident.

44th Precinct
Sunday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. -- The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance identifying
an individual in connection with three robberies
of cellular phone stores in the 44th Precinct and
42nd Precinct from Wednesday, July 10 to Tuesday,
July 14.
The third crime in a pattern was reported to
police inside of Boost Mobile at 71 E. Mount Eden
Avenue. An unidentified man entered the store
brandishing a black gun. He racked the slide of the
firearm, and threatened to shoot the 23-year-old
male store employee if he did not give him money.
The store employee complied and the male proceeded
to flee the location going west on Mound
Eden Avenue with approximately $916 dollars and
a cellphone valued at approximately $460 dollars.
The individual wanted for questioning is described
as a Hispanic man who is approximately
25-years-old to 30-years-old of age.
47th Precinct
Friday, July 22 at 9 a.m. --The NYPD is asking
the public’s help in identifying a man (see photos)
wanted for questioning in connection to an assault
within the confi nes the 47th Precinct.
In front of 4000 White Plains Road, a 56-yearold
male victim was at the location talking with an
associate, when an unidentified male approached
them and threw a folding chair striking the victim
in the head. The male fled the scene in unknown
direction. The victim was removed to Bronx Municipal
Hospital Center in stable condition with
pain to the head.
Monday, July 22 at 5:53 a.m. -- Police responded
to a 911 call about an unconscious man
in front of 3964 Bronx Boulevard. Upon arrival
officers found an unconscious and unresponsive
52-year-old male in the street with a stab wound
to the chest. EMS also responded to the scene
and transported the victim to Montefiore Medical
Center where he was pronounced deceased.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing
as of press time. The name of the deceased
is being withheld pending family notification as of
press time.
