Bronx resident produces fi lm
about medical racism and warns
against the COVID vaccine

As millions are making appointments
to get the COVID-19 vaccine, one Bronx
resident is not running to the front of the
line nor does he think the shot is needed.
Curtis Cost, who has 30 years of research
and activism for Black community
issues, believes that vaccines represent
one of the greatest threats to people
around the world, especially to Africans
and Latinos.
He stressed to the Bronx Times that
many people should be wary of the vaccine
as he incorrectly claims that the vaccines
are not FDA approved and does not
contain SARS-CoV-2, which is the virus
that can lead to COVID-19.
Recently, he produced a fi lm, “Medical
Racism: The New Apartheid,” which
discusses the harmful effects of vaccines
on the Black community and why people
should not be forced to get them.
“It’s (the COVID-19) not even a vaccine,”
Curtis explained. “Most people
don’t realize SARS isn’t in the vaccine.
They don’t promise you won’t get
COVID.”
The hour long fi lm explores how the
Tuskegee experiments exploited Black
people for 40 years and interviews African
Americans, many of which are leery
of vaccines.
While Cost has written several books
about vaccines, this was the fi rst fi lm he
was involved with. He enjoyed hearing
perspectives from different types of people.
Even some NBA players have said they
will not get it for those same reasons.
According to Cost, people need to educate
themselves on what is in vaccines before
taking them.
“People need to know that the CDC and
WHO (World Health Organization) have
bad characters who do bad things,” he
said. “Some of them feel it’s okay to misrepresent
people.”
Cost and the fi lm point out that the CDC
has withheld info how about the MMR
vaccine for measles can cause autism. He
noted that for years he has warned parents

about the dangers of vaccines.
People should not assume a vaccine is
safe, Cost commented. Vaccines became
even more a threat in 1986 when the National
Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was
passed; meaning parents could not sue the
drug company if there were negative side
effects.
Cost, who meets with scientists and
research doctors weekly, also questioned
the validity of the COVID-19 PCR test and
if the amount of people who died from the
virus is actually true. If they had underlying
conditions how do we know that isn’t
what killed them?
He stressed that the CDC and WHO are
misleading the country and making them
feel this alleged vaccine is safe.
The hope is people watch the fi lm and
understand how dangerous vaccines are,
he stated.
“Our kids are among the sickest because
they get more vaccines than anyone
on the planet,” Cost said. “The World
Health has changed the defi nition of what
a vaccine is.”
