FERNANDEZ ATTENDS BRONX
PSYCHIATRIC CENTER’S MEETING
On Friday, February 21, Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez attended the Bronx Psychiatric
Center’s bi-annual meeting. The center serves some of the most vulnerable populations of
the Bronx and dedicate their time and efforts to establishing a safe and respectful treatment
environment for all patients. The Bronx Psychiatric Center also coordinates with the
community to ensure that their services are utilized and the most vulnerable are assisted.

THREE KINGS DAY TOY EVENT AT MCDONALD’S
McDonald’s owner and operator Tony Rodriguez hosted a Three Kings Day toy donation
event at his West Fordham Bronx restaurant last month. The event was co-hosted by the
Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce who joined forces to bring the joy of the annual
celebration to children from the Neighborhood Association for Inter-cultural Affairs, Inc.
homeless shelter. Elected offi cials in attendance included councilmen Fernando Cabrera
and Ruben Diaz, Sr.

OCASIO-CORTEZ AT P.S. 304 FOR CENSUS WEEK
On Monday, February 24, Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez visited P.S. 304 during
Census Week to speak to students about the importance of the Census and how it helps
communities get much-needed services for its schools and libraries.
