BP Diaz hosts African American Culture and History event
Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. hosted a celebration of African American Culture and History on Thursday, February 6 in recognition of Black History Month.
The event’s honorees included recording artist Mysonne Linen, entrepreneur, TV personality and philanthopist Yandy Smith-Harris and Joy Williams, president
of the NAACP’s Brooklyn chapter. Other attendees included Councilman Andy King, Councilwoman Vanessa Gibson, Councilman Ruben Diaz, Sr. and others.
