40th Precinct
Friday, January 31 at 6 p.m. - A 13-year old
female victim was with a group of friends in front of
2628 Third Avenue when they got into a verbal dispute
with an unknown male individual. The dispute escalated
into a physical confrontation, when the 13-year
old victim and her friends began to punch the male
about the head and torso. The male individual then
displayed a knife and stabbed the 13-year old female
victim several times. She suffered bleeding and puncture
wounds before EMS responded and transported
her to Harlem Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The suspect, who fled the scene on a scooter, is described
as a Hispanic male in his 20s and was last
seen wearing a red cap and all dark clothing.
Friday, January 31 - 31-year old Joanne Garcia
was arrested and charged with third degree robbery
and fourth degree grand larceny in connection to
an incident that took place on the morning of Friday,
January 24, when An 84-year old female victim was
waiting to make a purchase with money in her hand
when Garcia approached her and allegedly snatched
the $20 bill out of her hand. The female suspect, then
fled on foot westbound on East 138th Street.
41st Precinct
Friday, January 17 at 6:07 p.m. - One male
punched a 69-year old victim in the face in front of
a Dollar Tree located at 867 Longwood Avenue while
another male took $45 from the victim’s left hand and
ran across the street, continuing eastbound on Longwood
Avenue. The suspect who punched the victim in
the face walked away and also headed eastbound on
Longwood Avenue. The victim suffered bruising and
swelling to the face. The first individual is was last
seen wearing a red baseball cap, a red jacket, a black
shirt, blue jeans and grey sneakers. The second individual
was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded
jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Monday, February 3 at 8:35 p.m. - A six-year
old male was inside of a deli located at 1086 Kelly
Street when he was approached by four individuals,
who proceeded to strike the victim about the body
multiple times inside of the deli, as well as in front of
the deli on the sidewalk after dragging the victim outside.
The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Lincoln, where he was treated for injuries to the

face, knees and back. The suspects fled southbound
on Kelly Street following the incident.
42nd Precinct
Saturday, January 18 at 3:50 p.m. - An unknown
male entered a restaurant on 1078 Boston
Road and approached a 78-year old male employee
who was standing behind the counter. The suspect
proceeded to punch the victim in the face before he
fled the location on foot to parts unknown. The victim
suffered pain and bruising but refused medical attention
at the scene. The individual wanted for questioning
in connection to the incident is described as a
black male in his 20s and was last seen wearing all
dark clothing.
Friday, January 31 at 2:25 a.m. - An unidentified
male approached a 65-year old male victim while
standing in the vicinity of Clinton Avenue and East
169th Street. The unidentified male then slashed the
victim across the left side of his face with an unknown
object before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken
to a nearby hospital, where he received stitches for
his wounds before he was released. The unidentified
male is described as being in his 20s and was
last seen wearing a black jacket with brown fur, grey
pants, black sneakers and a black hooded sweatshirt.
43rd Precinct
Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 a.m. - A New
York City Housing Authority employee discovered that
an office door inside 1090 Rosedale Avenue was unlocked,
with the office unit’s air conditioner pushed
in. A printer was also damaged and the office was in
disarray. No property was removed.
Sunday, January 26 at 1:15 p.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual
in connection to two robbery incidents which
occurred in a parking lot belonging to 1836 Watson
Avenue. The first incident occured on Saturday, January
25 at 12:30 a.m. when one individual entered
a 47-year old victim’s taxi while a second individual
stayed outside in front of the driver side window.
Both individuals demanded the victim’s property and
removed $60 in cash and a cell phone from the taxi
driver. The second incident took place the next day,
when one of the two individuals from the first incident

victim’s taxi and proceeded to brandish a knife before
forcibly removing $60 in cash.
44th Precinct
Sunday, January 12 at 3 a.m. - An unidentified
individual used an object to break into a storage closet
inside of 155 W. 162nd Street. Once inside, the suspect
took two drills, one snake and one pair of channel
lock pliers before leaving the location through the
front door and fleeing in an unknown direction. The
suspect is described as being in his 30s and was last
seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants
and white sneakers.
Friday, January 17 at 5:10 p.m. - An unknown
individual entered a Dollar Tree located at 1364 Jerome
Avenue and stole food. While exiting the location,
the suspect was stopped by a store employee
before displaying a knife and verbally threatening the
employee. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown
direction.
Sunday, January 26 at 4:20 a.m. - A 39-year
old male victim was walking in front of 24 W. 179th
Street when two unidentified individuals approached
him and struck him multiple times in the face before
removing his wallet containing credit cards and approximately
$15. The individuals then fled on foot to
parts unknown. The first individual is nearly 6’0” and
the second individual is about 5’3”. Both suspects are
believed to be between 15-20 years old.
Saturday, February 1 - The NYPD is seeking the
public’s assistance in identifying the male in connection
to a robbery pattern. The first incident took place
on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:15 p.m. in the vicinity
of McClellan Street and River Avenue, when a 58-year
old male victim was approached by an unidentified
male who displayed a knife and removed $50 before
fleeing the scene eastbound on McClellan Street. The
second incident occurred on Saturday, February 1 at
6:10 p.m., when a 71-year old male was approached
from behind by an unidentified male who displayed
a knife and removed the victim’s property. The male
then fled south on River Avenue with the victim’s cell
phone and $250. There were no injuries reported as a
result of either incident.
Wednesday, February 5 at 10:56 p.m. - A 27-
year old male victim was walking on the sidewalk at
Sheridan Avenue and E. 167th Street when several
individuals approached him and displayed a knife,
pressing it against his torso. The individuals then forcibly
removed the victim’s cell phone from his pocket
and fled westbound on 167th Street. .
46th Precinct
Sunday, January 19 - Five individuals (four females
and one male) temporarily disabled the surveillance
system inside of a residential building in the
vicinity of West 179th Street and Loring Place South
before they attempted to force open a 56-year old
male victim’s apartment door multiple times throughout
the morning. The individuals were unsuccessful
and fled the scene southbound on West 179th Street
inside of a dark colored mini-van.
Thursday, January 23 - Cassidy Clark, an 18-
year old E. 145th Street resident was arrested and
charged with assault in connection to an incident that
took place on Sunday, January 19 at 11:30 p.m., when
a 28-year old female victim was approached by three
unidentified females, punched multiple times and
sprayed with an unknown chemical substance inside
of a northbound 4 train. The victim sustained bruising
and irritation but refused medical attention at the
scene. In addition, two 17-year old females were taken
into custody in connection to this incident.
47th Precinct
Friday, January 31 - Teshawn Watkins, a 27-
year old Holland Avenue resident was arrested and
charged with second degree murder, manslaughter,
first degree reckless endangerment and acting in
a manner injurous to to a child in connection to the
death of one-month old Kaseem Watkins, who passed
away on Wednesday, January 29.
Monday, February 3 at 9:12 p.m. - Police responded
to a 911 call pertaining to a male shot inside
of 4453 White Plains Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered
a 43-year old male in the lobby of the location
with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded
as transported the victim, later identified as Shameek
Lilly, to Montefiore Medical Center where he was pronounced
deceased.
48th Precinct
Tuesday, February 11 at 2:45 p.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year
old Daisy Rivera, a resident of Washington Avenue. It
was reported that Rivera was last leaving her residence.
She is described as being 5’4”, weighing 185
pounds with a medium complexion, brown eyes and
long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a Champion
windbreaker, blue jeans and Timberland boots.
49th Precinct
Wednesday, January 8 - Four male individuals
approached a 28-year old and a 19-year old victim and
cut the 19-year old on the right side of the face with
a sharp object. The 19-year old ran from the scene
immediately. The males then punched and kicked the
28-year old victim before knocking him down to the
pavement. One of the individuals cut the victim’s face,
right hand and stabbed him twice in the back. The
males took the 28-year old victim’s cell phone during
the assault, before two of the suspects fled on foot
westbound on Morris Park Avenue while the other two
suspects ran southbound on Hunt Avenue. Both victims
were treated at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi
for non-life threatening injuries.
Sunday, January 26 at 3 a.m. - A 32-year old
male victim was on the Allerton Avenue subway platform
of the 2 and 5 train when he was approached by
three unidentified males, who displayed a firearm and
forcibly removed the victim’s backpack, cellphone,
debit card, ID and approximately $50 before fleeing
the location in an unknown direction. The victim did
not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.
50th Precinct
Saturday, February 1 at 5 a.m. - Two individuals
were knocking on and kicking a 19-year old victim’s
front door, located in the vicinity of West 238th
Street and Waldon Avenue. The victim told the individuals
that they had the wrong house, at which point
a physical altercation ensued. One of the individuals
brandished a firearm and shot the victim in the torso
before both individuals fled westbound on West 238th
Street. The 19-year old victim was transported by
EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated
for his injuries.
52nd Precinct
Wednesday, January 22 at 6:57 p.m. - An unidentified
individual was observed removing items
from a shelf inside of 2343 Jerome Avenue and was
confronted by a store employee. The individual began
assulting the employee before fleeing the location.
The unidentified individual is described as a Hispanic
male, approximately 18 to 20 years old and was last
seen wearing an orange sweatshirt and black pants.
Monday, January 30 at 7 p.m. - A two-year
old male was seated near a store window getting
his haircut inside of Osvaldo’s Barbershop located
at 52 Kingsbridge Road when an unknown individual
walked towards the store’s glass window with a baseball
bat. He swung the baseball bat, causing the window
to break. Pieces of the shattered glass window
fell on the victim, causing lacerations to the back of
his head. He was transported to Montefiore Medical
Center, where he was treated for his injuries.
