When does the hypocrisy
stop? Teachers were fi rst in
line to receive Covid vaccine,
yet they refuse to return to the
classrooms. Social distancing
and travel restrictions are
mandated yet 25,000 illegal
immigrants will be allowed to
cross our boarders. I wonder if
social distancing is required
for them? The government
stops the building of the wall
to stop illegal immigration
but constructs a wall around
the capitol. Trump was impeached
because they felt he
incited the capitol riot yet I
week before the incident, relying
on intelligence reports,
local leaders requested the
National Guard, that request
was denied by House Sargentat
arms Paul Irving. General
Michael Flynn pleaded guilty
to lying to FBI- Federal Prosecutors
wanted him sentenced
to 6 months in prison. Yet FBI
lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pled
guilty to falsifying documents
in the Russian Prob was sentenced
to probation. James
Comey who lied to Congress
was not tried at all. Equal
Justice I think not. Governor
Cuomo lauded as a hero for his
Covid response by the media,
yet he is responsible for putting
infective Covid patients
in nursing homes when the
Javits center and the naval
ship Comfort were empty. Former
President Trump was vilifi
ed by the press for his handling
of the Covid crises yet
did anyone praise him for his
rapid response and the quick
production of a vaccine in record
time? Congress critzize
Trump for fi ery rhetoric when
their rhetoric was even more
divisive. People use their constitutional
right of free speech

Elected offi cials took an oath
to protect us against all enemies
foreign and domestic, yet
they look the other way when
cities are looted and burned
and people threatened and assaulted.
Some went as far as to
ignore the violence and make
excuses for the looting (Congresswoman
Alexandra Ocasio
Cortez “maybe they were
hungry”). Both parties are
guilty of party politics and it is
harmful to our country. Both
parties claim no one is above
the law but both look the other
way when it suits their narrative.
Just look at the voting in
Congress does anyone have a
mind of their own or do they
only vote along the party line
– thoughts be dammed. Party
politics is destroying our democracy.
Both parties have
said one thing when they were
in power and the complete opposite
when the opposing party
was in power which proves the
party is more important than
the people. Media censorship
and media bias puts a strain
on our democratic system by
presenting a narrative that
fi ts a political agenda. History
teaches us how nations have
lost their freedoms; all we
have to do is heed the warnings
of the past. Examine the
rise of Nazi Germany the similarities
would shock you.
