Student and staff, both in person and remotely, participated in Spirit Week at Birch Pelham Bay Early Childhood Center in December. Children and staff made and wore tye-dyed t-shirts,

CHAPLAINS WORKERS TASK FORCE TOY DRIVE
Over 1,000 toys were distributed to families Wednesday, December 23, at the 24th annual
holiday toy drive hosted by the Chaplains Workers Task Force, a nonprofi t organization
founded by Angelica and Carlos Baez. The event was assisted by NYPD Police Offi cer Kaminie
Jeeuth and Demaris Martes at the Herbalife location on Jerome Avenue. The Chaplains
Workers Task Force, for the last 20 years, has been giving assistance to those in need all
over the Bronx including shelters, senior centers, churches, and homeless communities. A
live DJ, holiday music, treats and prizes were given to all attendees.
