To my neighbors, friends and supporters of the 34th senatorial district
Thank You all for your support of my candidacy to be your next state senator. We all should be
proud of our strong challenge against a well funded progressive incumbent with a famous political
last name. But more importantly, we must double our efforts to highlight common sense
democratic policies over the Working Family Party and their progressive socialist agenda.
We can not allow WFP candidates to hijack the democratic party line as a path to election success.
Their numbers in the senate now give them a super majority to override Governor Cuomo’s

veto power.
Once elected progressive’s push a social justice agenda, including Bail Reform, Defund the Police
, anti small landlord legislation, proposing to require police officers to obtain personal liability
insurance and to remove police from auto stops and replace them with a Traffic Safety
Commission.
This is why I am declaring my candidacy for the Democratic
State Senate Primary In 2022.
Over the next 2 yrs I will discuss my positions on issues that face our District and State, keep the
spotlight on our current State Senator’s political agenda and the use of her office as a catapult to
higher elected office, and finally getting to know each other on a personal level.
