of REALTORS (HGAR) and
the Castle Hill YMCA are
working together again to
bring joy to the holiday season
for needy families living
in the Bronx, through
their annual “Operation
REALTORS Kids” Toy
Drive.
REALTORS and members
of the public are being
asked to drop off unwrapped
toys from now
through December 18, from
9 AM to 5 PM, at either of
these two Bronx locations:
HGAR at 1867 Williamsbridge
Road, or the YMCA
at 2 Castle Hill Ave. Please
contact Eliezer Rodriguez
at eliezer.rodriguez@hgar.
com, to choose from a list of
desired toys.
Realtors and members of
the public can also provide
a fi nancial donation of any
amount that will be used to
purchase toys by visiting
www.HGAR.com/events.
“Our members and
friends give generously
during the Holiday Season
to help our neighbors in
need,” said Rodriguez, Liaison
for the HGAR Bronx
Chapter. “Our REALTORS
are committed to building
communities, as well as
sustaining them.”
This is the 10th consecutive
year that the Association
and the YMCA have
worked together for the Toy
Drive. “Over the years, we
have partnered with the
Association to spread Holiday
cheer to the homes
of hundreds of families,”
added Sharlene Brown,
executive director of the
Bronx YMCA. “That’s what
Christmas is all about.”
On Christmas Day, Dec.
25, volunteers with “Operation
REALTORS Kids” will
make their rounds through
various Bronx neighborhoods,
visiting more than
20 homes with gifts for
more than 80 children.
