Jason Florentino is from the
Bronx, New York. He graduated
from Monsignor Scanlan high
school in 2018. He’s currently in
his junior year, studying at Dillard
University in New Orleans,
Louisiana. Jason is the recipient
of the Naval Reserve Offi cer
Training Corps (NROTC) scholarship,
which is a great opportunity
to attend a four-year civilian
college or university, tuition-free,
while a student works towards becoming
a Marine Corps offi cer.
Jason is considered a Midshipmen
Second Class (MIDN 2/C) in
the NROTC program and hopes to
graduate in 2022 with a bachelors
in criminal justice. After graduation,
he will have a guaranteed
career within the Marine Corps
which he hopes to become an intelligence
or infantry offi cer. He is
one of the many students who have
chosen the coveted path to become
a United States Marine.
