BY OUR LADY OF GRACE SCHOOL
Students from Our Lady of Grace
 School participated in the Loukoumi
Make a Difference Day, by collecting
and dropping off mini pumpkins and
items from an Amazon wish list to residents
of ArchCare Senior Life at San
Vicente de Paul. The items were delivered
via car parade with signs of encouragement
 and gratitude for the residents
 and nursing home workers.
 Loukoumi Make a Difference Day
is an annual event where more than
 100,000 volunteers from schools around
the world help others wherever they
can. The mission is to “create opportunities
for all children to make a difference
in their own lives and the lives of
 others.” Before collecting their items,
students participated in a virtual event
that included a reading and different
“good deed” ideas that schools can participate
in, in their local community all
 year round.
