The recent death of a Bronx woman who was hit by a cop car is now being

When our men and women are
serving to protect our country, I look
for our hometown heroes to help us
keep those packages going ‘til they all
come home.
Today I stopped by my grandchildren’s
orthodontist offi ce on Pelham
Parkway South to pick up supplies
for our troops to keep them healthy.
Toothbrushes, fl oss and mouthwash
among items they need.
Big thank you to Dr. Stevens,
known by many for his outstanding
work with children to have a perfect
smile.
Today’s donation was one of many
throughout the years. Dr Stevens has
donated funds to buy our big prizes
for our Bingo in past years like the
Keurig coffee makers and other gifts.
He has also ordered toothpaste and
toothbrushes in prior years.He was
honored in 2015 and still displays his
Certifi cate of Appreciation.
My hero! Yes we were both smiling
under our masks.
