Halt Southern Boulevard Rezoning
The Southern Boulevard Coalition hosted a rally on Thursday, June 13 at Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School challenging Mayor de Blasio’s
plans to rezone Southern Boulevard. The coalition, comprised of local residents, community and labor organizations, believes the city must
engage in a community-led process with a plan that places local experience and knowledge at its core, builds on existing strengths and assets
in the area, and supports collective ownership and equitable development to benefi t current community members.
