a toast on remarkable crafting
accomplishments. The
Bead Project is a 10-week
scholarship program from
Urban Glass for women who
turn glass beadmaking into
a gig and become a part of
a dynamic creative community.
For 25 years, 12 students
have arrived with little or
no glass making experience
and left with entrepreneurial
